Wedding Celebration on November 1st, Dia de Los Muertos

The holiday, which is celebrated mostly in Mexico on Dia Mexican tradition begins November 1 to November 2, it is like a family reunion—except dead ancestors are the guests of honor. Day of the Dead is a joyful time that helps people remember the deceased and celebrate their memory. In the tradition of Dia de Los Muertos we are asking our guests that would like to participate in this celebration to bring a picture in a frame of a loved one who has passed. We will have a traditional alter celebrating and honoring their passing. If you are unfamiliar with this tradition I recommend to watch the Disney movie Coco from 2017. It is a great representation that you can share with the family. Note: We don't want to be responsible for original pictures, you might want to bring a copy.

Saturday Morning, November 2

Let's continue celebrating with some pozole and brisket. Pozole is delicious, hearty Mexican soup that warms the body and nourishes the soul. Brisket made by Manny. This will be on Saturday morning, at 10 am. Enjoying some more time with family and friends.
