This link is all the places we saved on Google Maps to show all the places of interest in the area.
Local food hall with a bunch of different eateries we are a fans of including the monthly changing soft serve. Late night will also turn into a mini club.
The big mall in the area, known for the having all the luxury brands. Many surrounding restaurants and shops as well to fit every need.
This whole area is historical and has local shops only here in the DMV. There is the water front as well that has more restaurants and also where the proposal happened! Parking is a little rough, but the walk throughout Old Town is beautiful.
The pencil as we know it. It is the nearby the Smithsonian's and other national monuments. The big sightseeing area to walk and explore for a whole day. Parking is a going to be rough, but there are garages and street parking (it is all paid).
This museum isn't part of the Smithsonian's so you will have to pay for it, but it is an experience on its own. Will need to pay in advance and tickets sell pretty quick so plan ahead!
Great view of the Tidal Basin area and in front of the Reflecting Pool and nearby the WWII Memorial as well. Great photo opportunities, but will always have large crowds.
Right next to the water, it is packed full of restaurants, fresh seafood, and local shops.
We recently took pictures there and the church is beautiful. and massive. The inside is only open during certain times, but seeing the exterior is a site to see. The gardens is also a great photo opportunity as well
