Yvy and Robert met on a popular online dating site on August 7, 2021. Yvy had only been on one week when matched with Robert. Conversations flowed easily, and there was chemistry from their first meeting. On their first date, they realized that they had a lot in common, including a mutual friend, Ralph. Robert and Ralph went to high school together, and Ralph is currently married to Yvy’s matron of honor, Flore!

Yvy and Robert have been inseparable ever since that first date. They soon fell in love! The couple enjoys quiet time together, dining out, exercising, and spending time with family and friends. Seeing each other almost daily, they often include Yvy’s ten-year-old son, Mikey, on their outings. Other times, Robert and Mikey exclude Yvy for some male bonding.

Robert proposed to Yvy on December 19, 2023. He told her that he had spoken to her dad, his mom, his sister, and Mikey, and they all said, “Yes,” but now he needed just one more yes. Pulling the ring from his pocket, Robert asked, “Will you marry me?” and without hesitation, Yvy responded, “YES!”

Yvy and Robert will wed in November 2024 and are looking forward to living their happily ever after.
