Both Zach and Zoë grew up in Kalispell, Montana. Despite sharing several mutual friends and connections throughout their lifetime, they didn’t cross paths until 2023.

Zach was living the American dream, almost. He had a fulfilling career, house with a white picket fence, and golden retriever; but no wife.

Zoë was about to explore her new found freedom after becoming licensed and establishing a practice. Summer of 2023 was aptly dubbed, the Summer of Zoë.

Both looking for love, and cleverly targeted by dating app ads, they took to Hinge to explore what the Flathead Valley had to offer.It wasn’t long before both of them realized that they had stumbled upon the very best their little town had to offer.

After several exciting dates, which included dinners, hikes, lake days, and symphonies, the two love birds understood the rest was history. After a very mutual chat about how each are characteristically independent and neither planned to take things very quickly, they soon spent every waking moment together. Their fierce independence was softened by the other as they realized they had found their partner for life.

Zach taught Zoë how to slow down, celebrate the small things, and believe that the best years are yet to come. Zoë taught Zach how to expand his pallet, balance spontaneity with careful planning, and that true love does exist.

It was undeniable, they were meant to be. Then, on June 8th, 2024, Zach took Zoë to a special place; Heron Park. A year ago, they had had their second date at Heron Park; and afterwards, Zach told his friend that he knew he would marry her. So it was only fitting that there amongst the trees and the wildflowers, Zach would ask Zoë to be his wife. An ecstatic “yes” followed his question and here we are!
