RSVP

How do I RSVP? Does it have to be by mail?

We invite you to RSVP under the tab labeled "RSVP" here on the website. You will have the option to accept or decline the invitation to both the Michigan and Arizona events.

What date should I RSVP by?

We ask that you RSVP no later than May 20th, 2025. This gives us plenty of time to make necessary preparations for catering and spacing.

Venue

What is the address for the reception and ceremony? Are they wheelchair accessible?

Both the ceremony and reception will be taking place at Port 393, at 393 Cleveland Avenue, Holland MI 49423. The ceremony takes place on the second floor, however, there is an elevator for accessibility to the second floor. The Arizona reception will be held at 10956 E Serafina Avenue, Mesa AZ 85212.

Is there parking available nearby?

There is limited parking in the actual venue lot itself, most of which will be used by vendors and the wedding party. However, there are some places for street parking, as well as a parking lot at the park nearby. For guests who want to have a few drinks in the evening, Uber and Lyft both run in the city and can pick up and drop off from the venue. For more information, head to the "Parking" tab and check out the map provided.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Weather providing, the ceremony will be taking place outside on the terrace of the venue. Michigan summers tend to either be dark and rainy or bright and sunny, so we will act accordingly. The terrace is semi-shaded, but most of the seats will likely be in the sun. Cocktail hour will take place both inside and out, and the reception will be all inside, however access to the terrace will still be available during this time.

Accommodations

Is there a block reserved at a hotel nearby?

No, we do not have a block reserved at a hotel as of now. There are a lot of hotels and rental properties in the area, many of which can be found under the "Travel" tab on the website.

Dress Code

Is there a dress code?

Yes, the dress code for the Michigan events is semi-formal. Think dress shirts and slacks or suits for the gents (tie optional), and cocktail-length dresses or sundresses for the ladies. The dress code for the Arizona reception is dressy casual to casual. Think button-down shirts and slacks or khakis for the gents, and sundresses or lightweight separates for the ladies.

Are there any colors or styles I should wear or avoid?

We encourage you to wear something fun and creative! Our colors are dusty blue, twilight blue, and sage green, but by no means are these the only colors to wear. Light and bright summer shades and pastels are great, but maybe steer away from very dark colors, as well as white, and preferably no full light blue/dusty blue suits, though separates are okay!

What will the weather be like?

During late June in Michigan, if the ceremony can take place outside it might be a bit humid. Temperatures tend to be around the low 70s to low 80s in the afternoon, and the rooftop will be in the sun. The humidity can make this feel quite warm, so lightweight materials will do best to keep you cool!

Guest List

Can I bring a plus one?

While we would love to pack our wedding events and celebrate with as many people as possible, we are space-limited with our venues as to the number of guests we can allow. We unfortunately can't accommodate plus-ones beyond those named on the wedding invitation. We hope you understand our decision.

Can I bring my children?

Children whose names are addressed in the RSVP on the website are invited to attend. We are unable to accommodate any others for the same reasons mentioned above. We hope you understand, and if there is any confusion please do not hesitate to reach out. Thank you.

Food Menus

What type of food will be served at the wedding?

For the reception in Michigan, we will have a few options for appetizers, including fruit kabobs and a butcher board spread, with meats and cheeses. Dinner will include a buffet-style taco bar, as well as salad and chips and salsa. Dessert will include cheesecakes and popcorn with butter as a late night snack. For the Arizona reception, we will be catering Some Burros Mexican Food, as well as some plated appetizers and cake. For both events, we will work around any dietary restrictions as best we can, so please do inform us so that we can prepare alternative dishes.

Will there be an open bar?

Yes, there will be an open bar. Immediately following the conclusion of the ceremony, the second floor bar will open up for cocktail hour while the reception space is prepared. During the reception, the upstairs bar will close and the downstairs bar will open up. IDs will be required. For underage guests, as well as those who do not wish to have alcohol, a variety of sodas and non-alcoholic beverages will be available. Due to the presence of an in-house bar, there are some rules regarding behavior. Rude, disruptive, or damaging behavior can result in being cut off, or even having bar services shut down. Said behaviors, as well as the attempt to bring in outside alcohol not in gift form, can also result in financial penalties charged to us, which will be passed along to anyone responsible for these penalties. We want everyone to have a safe and fun night, but we want to keep it responsible. Thank you!

Registry

Do you have a wedding registry?

Yes, we are registered with Amazon and Target. All of the links to these registries can be found under the "Registry" tab on the website. Thank you!

Should we bring or send our gift?

We appreciate the thought of any gift, and we will have a table for both cards and gifts at the receptions. If you do not feel like traveling with anything large, gifts can be shipped to our address when purchasing off of our registry. Thank you!
