We had mutual friends in high school but never officially met until our brothers were on the same travel ball team. I went to one of Kasen's game and so happened to be this good looking guy there watching his brother. Later that night, I received a Twitter DM, exchanged snap names and numbers. We became friends first, but I always wanted to make an excuse to go to Kasen's practices in the hopes of seeing him. Fast forward to years later in 2019, I ran into him at the annual basketball Christmas tournament in Franklin. He had the courage to ask me out for drinks a week or so later, and were basically attached at the hip for a couple months. But timing is everything and we both knew we had more important obligations in our lives at the time. So after a year, Zach reached out expressing his interest still, and it was officially the right time for both of us to be together. We reconnected and the rest is history :)
I saw Katie at one of our brother's baseball tournaments and thought she was way out of my league but I would still try and talk to her. I didn't work up enough courage to talk to her, but rather message her on social media. We eventually became friends and hung out from time to time at more baseball games. It took me quite a few years, but I worked up enough courage to ask her on a date. We went on a date at a place in Franklin and after the date I knew I wanted to make a move so I counted to 3 in my head and planted one on her. Timing is everything, so after a couple years we finally moved in together and BAM here we are. Inseparable ever since.
