Our Wedding

Their story began in July of 2022 when they met in Panama City Beach, Florida while Lexi was attending ACOM and Zach was in Combat Dive School. To Lexi’s surprise, Zach would drive to Dothan, Alabama every weekend to take her on dates and day trips all over the state to make the most out of the short weekends. Lexi immediately felt so comfortable and simply happy with him and it was easy to fall for such a smart, outgoing, and caring person. After two weeks of dating, Zach told Lexi he loved her, and eventually had to break the news that his dive school was coming to an end and he was going to have to go back to North Carolina. They both understood that the distance was going to be challenging but staying together was the only thing that mattered. Zach ended up having to move back a few weeks later and committed himself to Lexi promising he’d come back to Dothan every chance he had. He kept his word and kept driving to Dothan every month to see his love. Whenever Lexi had a chance to break from her extremely busy med school schedule she did the same. They made it more than just work, they fell deeper and deeper in love every day that passed. They traveled to many places around the country and world. The summers and winters they shared were full of adventures and memories. Zach ended up having to deploy and he couldn’t have asked for a more amazing and supportive person. The long six months went by much faster being able to stay in contact with each other and they both offered each other so much support. Lexi knew that they could get through anything together, but the way they continued to put each other first and the way Zach always made her feel immensely loved even from so far away, continued to strengthen their relationship. Zach returned home to Lexi and his friends/family with one thing on his mind. Marrying Lexi was the only thing he wanted to do. Her sweet, loving nature, her limitless smarts and untamed beauty left him no choice. All he wanted was a life spent with her for the rest of their days. He flew down to Florida to meet with Lexi’s parents to ask for permission. With their blessing, Zach asked Lexi to marry him in South Topsail Island bathed in that beautiful sunset. It was the easiest decision of Lexi's life as she had never been more sure about anything as she was that she wanted to spend her life with Zach. That beautiful night marked the beginning of another wonderful chapter of their lives which brings us to today.

Taylor and Lexi grew up as best friends and neighbors. Taylor has always been like a sister to Lexi and it is impossible to not have a great time when they are laughing together!

Maddy was literally Lexi's very first friend, and they were an inseparable, but mischievous duo from the start. In Maddy, Lexi has been blessed with the very best friend for life that anyone could ask for! Maddy will not be able to make it to the wedding because she is expecting her 2nd baby!!!

Jasmine and Lexi ran together for four years of high school cross country and their love for running and having fun along the way made each other better and created a lasting bond!

Richelle and Lexi were teammates on the University of Missouri's track and cross country teams and lived together for four years of amazing memories as tigers! Richelle made Lexi's time in college so fun-filled and she will always be Lexi's very favorite roomie!

Abby and Lexi met as teammates on the University of Missouri's track and cross country teams and their friendship continued to grow since then. They are the friends who will always say yes to adventures together!

Morcquess and Lexi met at the athletic training center at the University of Missouri where they were both student athletes with goals to go to medical school. They spent late nights studying together and have supported each other now that they are both in medical school!

Emma and Lexi met at the start of medical school and became fast friends. They have bonded over the ups and downs of surviving medical school and having someone like Emma makes long study days so much better! Emma has also helped Puck survive medical school almost as much as she has helped Lexi!

Lauren and Lexi met in medical school and spent most of the first two years studying together. Lauren made the first half of medical school so much fun and full of laughs! Time with her is never boring and she is the kind of friends who can lift you up and encourage you when you need it most!

Margo is Lexi's cousin who she has grown up with and shares her favorite family memories with. Margo has been so fun to watch grow up and Lexi is excited to have her as an important part of her wedding day!

Duke is Lexi's younger brother. Their favorite thing to do together is go on long runs and Lexi feels so lucky to have a brother who shares her love for running and the great outdoors!

Miles and I met attending SOIDC pipeline and were roommates for much of it. Spent many late nights and long days running through the mountains.

Jordan Kiser, Zach's middle brother who has always managed to stay in touch despite being on the other side of the world

Terrell and Zach met his freshman year of high school. They immediately became friends and throughout those 4 years, they wrestled all across the country. Terrell has been a brother to Zach and continues to stay in touch and be present.

Austin Kiser is Zach's eldest brother. Zach has always looked up to him, especially as he was starting out as a new medic.

Colton and Zach met as new check-ins at work and quickly became close due to their shared backgrounds. Colton has been an awesome example to follow and their friendship continues to grow.

Jordan and Zach met starting one of their military pipelines to continue through jump school. They've continued to be very close ever since that day.

Tom and Zach met while checking into their team and stuck with each other and remained very close friends along the way. They later deployed together and experienced many adventures in distant places.

River and Zach met starting the long 3 year SOIDC pipeline, and endured many hardships along the way. After that was all done, River and Zach moved in together and supported each other while navigating busy training and deployments to come. They are friends who will forever be there for each other.

There will be a shuttle to take guests to and from the wedding venue that will pick up and drop off at The Foundry Hotel. Guests can meet at The Foundry hotel for pick up at 3:00 pm. One shuttle back at 9:00pm and another at 11:00pm.
