If you would have asked little Destiny where she saw herself in the future, she probably would have giggled and said “Anywhere with Zach Light!”

We met somewhere between recess and sitting next to each other's families in church. We became friends…then best friends…and somewhere along the way we fell in love for the first time.

But growing up is hard…and life is harder. We eventually found ourselves on two different paths without the other. Still, in the chaos of life, we always knew when one of us needed the other.

Our Story isn’t perfect...but it's ours. It’s had its share of late-night talks, slammed doors, growing pains and tearful good-byes. Our Story is full of firsts, lasts, heartaches, moments we wish we could relive…and some we would rather forget. It’s full of laughter and tears, happiness and forgiveness. It’s full of inside jokes, cuddles with our pups, boat rides, belly laughs, and second chances. It’s about the lessons that broke us…made us…and put us right where we are meant to be.

If you are reading this, you have played a part in our story. Whether you have been here since the first day, drifted away over time or joined us somewhere along the way. You have reminded us who we are, who made time for us, challenged us, and loved us. You’ve supported, guided, questioned, talked to, checked on…or simply just been there for one or both of us through the good and the bad. We are forever thankful for you and your part in our journey.

Our story is one we are still writing, one we are choosing to write to the very end. It hasn’t always been easy and we know it won’t always be…but it’s real, it's full of love and we know it will always be worth it.
