Zach and Maggie met online. Originally Zach tried to say he was too busy with football to date, but he's very grateful Maggie stuck around, as football would not make a great wife.

Zach proposed on December 21st, 2025. He and Maggie were pulling some overtime at the candy store when he sent the ring and the words "Marry me?" written in chocolate through the chocolate machine. It was very sweet--pun intended!
