There is an ancient Chinese proverb which says that “an invisible red thread connects those who are destined to meet regardless of time, place or circumstance”. The thread may stretch or tangle, but it will never break. Zach and Lexi believe that this theory sums up their relationship completely. The two first met at East Coweta High School in 2014. Zach was a part of Lexi's friend group but the two were complete opposites and barely ever said two words to one another. Years went by and the two reconnected after being added to a large group chat. Lexi reached out to Zach to see what the chat was all about and the two never stopped talking after that. As time went on, Lexi and Zach would share with each other some of their favorite high school memories. The first memory Lexi shared was of her and her friends being at Waffle House one night and singing along to the jukebox that was playing Taylor Swift. Lexi told Zach that the whole restaurant started singing and it was one of her favorite memories because everyone was having a genuinely good time. After hearing this story Zach laughed and told Lexi that he remembered her story because he was the one there that night playing the songs on the jukebox. Through the past year more and more of these stories have been shared between the two. From Lexi's tire being flat in high school and Zach being the one to change it in the pouring rain to Lexi finding a picture that Zach had taken of himself on her phone in ninth grade. Somehow the two have always been connected. No matter what trials life threw at the two, they somehow made it to one another. The two are overjoyed to continue their life together and to welcome their first child this coming August.
