Cambria's Perspective: Picture this: The world was freshly emerging from COVID times. Cambria had just completed a week of virtual sorority recruitment... aka she was going stir crazy and was in desperate need of a drink. Christina Conry was a big Locust Cider fan but had been wanting to try Incline Cider. For the first time since COVID began, Christina convinced Cambria and Rowan Coates to venture into the world. So the three dolled up, got their crazy on, and bopped to Incline blasting Glamorous on their way. Upon wandering inside, they all stopped to giggle behind their masks about how cute the bartender was. They plopped down, ordered flights and a top notch charcuterie board, and settled in for an evening of jabber.   Zach's Perspective: Passing time as a cider bar assistant manager, Zach showed up to work as usual on what would turn out to be a fateful Saturday night. It was slow for a weekend, so he took extra care in chatting with customers... gotta get those tips! A group of three good looking ladies wandered in, and Zach encouraged them to sit anywhere that was open. For good measure, he checked their IDs and found that all three were from different states (hmm... suspicious), so he asked how they knew each other. Christina explained that they went to college together, which initiated a tale of Zach's first two years of college out at Syracuse.   Finding out that Zach had also traveled across the country for college, Cambria felt an immediate but arguably unjustified connection to Zach. They chatted intermittently throughout the evening, and at the end of the night, Christina, Rowan, and Cambria decided that one of them HAD to leave their number for this bartender (sorry, assistant manager). Christina was in a relationship at the time and Rowan had sworn off men, so the task was left to Cambria. Christina would later post on instagram: Convinced my friend to leave her number HAHAHA!   As the three zoomed away, Cambria glanced back at Incline. Watching as Zach cleared their table, she thought to herself, I'm never going to hear from him.   The next day: 12:13 PM October 11, 2020 Hey Cambria, this is Zach from Incline Cider. I enjoyed meeting you yesterday. Would you want to grab a drink sometime?   In their first two weeks together, Zach & Cambria went on nine dates. The rest is history.
