Largest city park in the US with several miles of hiking trails, all pretty easy with varying length.
Iconic Oregon stop just outside of Portland. Pretty touristy, but beautiful if you’ve never been. You can hike the trail next to it for a great view of the Columbia River Gorge.
Cool spot in Portland and in Washington Park, close to many other sites and a beautiful neighborhood.
This is the largest book store in the US and a Portland staple.

If you're up in NoPo, this is our favorite coffee spot in our new neighborhood. We live just a 10-15 minute walk away, perfect distance for a short Keiko walk!
Near our venue, this place is great for a coffee & breakfast sandwich. We used to live 1 block over on SE 12th and Belmont!
Zach and Chris' go to lunch in college at UP, and (at the Hawthorne location) at their house on SE 47th. Great veggie options & hotdogs!
Thai meets American BBQ, famous for their brisket white curry. Definitely get Zach's favorite frozen cocktail, Jesus & tequila!
The best spot for oysters, poke, and fish tacos with an amazing happy hour.
Iconic tortas, insane carrot habanero hot sauce, top notch mezcal margs.
Our favorite food cart pod to grab a quick lunch or dinner at– it was a super close walk from our apartment in Buckman. Amazing fish n' chips, Thai food, sushi burritos, and mac n cheese!
Best oysters in Portland, with other fantastic elevated seafood small plates.

Casual yet classy handmade pasta with a small specialty grocery/shop in case you need a souvenir.
Some of the best Thai food in a city full of fantastic Thai food. Can't miss the papaya salads or Khao Soi!
A modern Portland classic. The pita is so good you've got to save it til the end so you don't fill up before everything else comes out!
Hands down the best wine bar in Portland. Their flights are a steal, the staff are incredibly knowledgeable, and the selection in their wine shop is amazing!
A lovely little 'urban winery' specializing in unique blends made with PNW grapes.
Fantastic cocktail bar with live DJs and great food!
Chris' favorite brewery in town, specializing in hazy, juicy IPAs. Our favorite location is the one on NE Alberta.
A 2-level barcade with lots of classic arcade games.
A super cute little brewery specializing in saisons & farmhouse beers in a house in our old neighborhood in SE. Zach and Chris had their first date here back when it was a different brewery, Lompoc Hedge House.
A cute lil taphouse in the Kenton neighborhood, a 10-minute walk from our house. We go to Mayfly often for their great beer selection, food cart popups, and because they allow dogs inside so Keiko can join!
An intimate [tiny] cocktail bar specializing in... rum! Great little snacks, and the perfect daiquri.
