Zach and Ali’s story began on Bumble, where she had to make the first move. When she noticed that he was Christian AND 6 foot 6, she didn’t hesitate to swipe and the rest was history in the making. At first, they both bent the truth when telling their families. Ali claimed they had met at the gym, and Zach explained that she was just a little older than she really was. She worried her family might not approve of meeting someone online, while he was nervous about what his family would think of him dating someone who had graduated high school the same year he graduated college. Looking back, those little secrets only add charm to the beginning of their story. At the time, Ali was living in Camdenton while Zach lived in Peculiar, and every Sunday they took turns making the long drive to Kansas City or back down south just to spend time together. After only a few months, she moved to Kansas City to start a life of her own — but deep down, she already knew Zach was her forever, even before he did. A couple of short but incredible years later, they moved in together, built a business side by side, and became “parents” to two sweet doggies who keep life interesting. Together, they dream of a future filled with children and animals, a home always buzzing with love and laughter. They imagine holidays where both families gather around a big table, friends who always have a place to stay, and a life where no day is ever taken for granted. Above all, they hold close the truth that this is the life they once prayed for — and now get to live together. The End❤️
