It was the Spring of 2017. Hanaye was the head bartender of a downtown Phoenix bar called Gypsy. 18 months prior, Zach had moved to Phoenix to attend law school. He had run low on funds and found work as a barback at Gypsy. As the head bartender, Hanaye was Zach's supervisor. Initially, she thought he was an idiot and really didn't care for him.
