Megan and Zach met at the University of Iowa, in sophomore year. They became fast friends but actually didn't date all throughout college. After graduation, Megan left Iowa and moved to Chicago. Oddly enough, Zach visited Chicago...a lot. (hmmm)

After finally realizing that Zach wasn't coming to Chicago just for the rock concerts, Megan panicked when Zach made a move and shot him down...hard. But that did not deter him for long! Soon after, Megan stopped running from her feelings and so the greatest love story ever told finally began.

Zach developed a dairy allergy but gained a girlfriend (Megan). They moved in together to a one-bedroom apartment in Lakeview, enjoying all the concerts and city life Chicago had to offer. Tolerating the bad apartment buildings was all worth it when they eventually bought their first house out in Lombard, IL.

Their dogs, Tina and Finley, were adopted shortly after moving in, making the house really feel like a home and the inside of a vacuum cleaner.

In need of some serious beach time and coconut drinks, Zach surprised Megan with a vacation in Oahu, Hawaii.

Zach had more in mind than buying fresh drinks in a pineapple. On a perfect day on Waimānalo Beach, Zach got down on one knee in the sand and proposed! (He had been carrying the ring around in his pocket the whole time!) More coconut drinks were had and the puppies were so excited that their pawrents were engaged (our families were excited too).

Megan and Zach have survived long-distance dating, many job changes, moving days, and a tiny pandemic. They cannot wait to take on any new challenges together, and cannot wait to celebrate their big day with you!
