Zachary & Kelsey

September 14, 2024 • Winter, WI

Where the heck is Winter, Wisconsin?

You’re heading Up North! If you’re using your GPS, be sure to enter your destination address as soon as you hit the road. Cell service is VERY spotty the closer you get & we want to be sure you make it to all of the fun wedding celebrations!

When is the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP via our wedding website by August 1st, 2024

Where can we stay?

Please visit the “Travel” tab on our website to find our favorite places to stay while in the Northwoods. AirBnB’s, VRBO’s, private cabins, hotels, etc., are available in the area. However, these will be limited, so we highly recommend you book your stay ASAP!

Can I bring my kids?

Due to space constraints, we are unable to accommodate children at our wedding unless listed on your invite.

Am I able to bring a “plus one”?

Due to space constraints, we are unable to accommodate anyone that’s not directly listed on your invitation.

What will the weather be like?

The average temperature in Winter, WI in September is a high of 67°& a low of 44°. But, after all this is Wisconsin. Kelsey & Zach are hoping for a 75° day. ;)

I’ve never been to the Flambeau State Forest before; what can I do while I’m there?

We recommend visiting our “Things to do” tab on our website to check out our favorite spots!

Ewww, it’s September in the woods. Will there be mosquitoes?

It really depends on if we have had a frost or not, so come prepared for those annoying little guys & pray that they are all dead for the year. ;)

Do you have a gift registry?

Fortunately we already have everything we need for this new chapter in our life. However, if you'd like to contribute to our home renovation & honeymoon fund, monetary gifts are welcome. There is a small registry located on our website.

Will there be any other events to attend during the wedding weekend?

We won’t be having a formal rehearsal dinner, but we will be heading to The Big Bear Lodge Friday, September 13th at 6 pm for cocktails & dinner. If you want to join us, give us a heads up so we can let The Big Bear know a rough estimate of how many people they can expect. No pressure to join us if you want to go check out some other great spots in the area!

How do I get to the ceremony site?

Come down Schmidt Road & follow the signs for parking & to the ceremony site. Our wedding will be taking place in the woods a few hundred yards from Kelsey’s parents cabin. (All events after the ceremony will be held there)

Is there parking available near the ceremony site?

Yes, but it will be limited. So, if you can carpool from your AirBnB’s/hotels that would be greatly appreciated.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony site?

We suggest arriving at the ceremony site 30 minutes prior for parking & to be sure everyone is seated on time.

Will the wedding events be taking place indoors or outdoors?

We are definitely planning for the ceremony & cocktail hour to be outdoors, even if it’s a little chilly. Dinner will be held inside the tent. We are also having an outdoor dance floor (weather permitting), so dress accordingly. If it is raining heavily at the time of the ceremony, this will also occur in the tent along with the rest of the festivities.

What should I wear?

Semi - formal dress, please! But, plan accordingly for Northwoods Wisconsin weather, landscapes, & fun dance moves!

Am I allowed to take photos at the wedding ceremony?

We have hired an amazing photo & video team so please refrain from taking photos during our ceremony. It is SUPER important to us that you are all present in the moment with us. You are truly our favorite people in the world & we want our ceremony to be electronics-free. After the ceremony, get those phones out & snap away. We can’t wait to see your reception photos!

What should we do after the ceremony while you take family photos?

Head over to the cabin/tent for cocktail hour & make yourself at home! We’re so glad you’re here to celebrate with us.

I have a dietary restriction, what’s the best way to let you know?

Please feel free to reach out to us & let us know your food requirements. We will be happy to accommodate them. bennettfeller24@gmail.com is the best way to reach us.

Will there be an open bar?

Yes, but don’t forget to bring cash to tip our awesome bartenders!

Will there be a dance after dinner?

That’s a silly question! Bring your worst dance moves, we all know Kelsey will!
