In the summer of 2022, Zach decided to go on an internship at North Shore Baptist Church in New York (where Kaylah lived). It was through this church community that their paths first crossed. Almost instantly, Zach and Kaylah felt a deep connection, and by August of that year, they were officially dating. A simple walk in the park and a long conversation over Chick-fil-A by a campfire blossomed into two wonderful years of dating, leading to a beautiful engagement.

On July 25, 2024, Zach chose to propose to Kaylah at the very spot where they had their first date. The Lord has blessed them immensely and they cannot wait to celebrate their love with their closest family and friends.

“Haven’t you read,’ he replied, ‘that at the beginning the Creator made them male and female,’ and said, ‘For this reason, a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’? So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.”
