Zac and Kim first met when studying biology at Purdue University, Fort Wayne in 2017. As classmates they had study sessions and their friend groups mended. Zac and Kim began to grow closer throughout the game nights and dinners.

Over time they began to study more and more, and it wasn't long before their friendly study sessions became weekly dinner and movie dates. In 2020, Zac made it official by spelling it out playing a game of battleship.

On November 23, 2022 Zac (with the help of his sister Lex) planned an elaborate engagement in Indianapolis. Zac swept Kim off her feet by taking her to the best breakfast in Indy and recreating one of their first dates, making candles together. After having lunch, Zac got down on one knee and proposed at the Bottleworks District! In tears Kim said yes!

Zac's loving family met the newly engaged couple at dinner, but Zac had one more trick up his sleeve. He had arranged for Kim's mother to fly in and meet them at dinner!

Throughout this time Zac and Kim attend Lincoln Memorial Univeristy-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine and have enjoyed traveling to California, Indiana, Canada, Florida, Georgia, and different cities in Tennessee. They love making coffee, cooking dinner, driving in Zac's 350z, watching each other play sports, adventuring together, and taking care of their golden wiener dog, Winston.
