We met at Ross Department Store. Zack was the security guard at the time, and I was a customer. It was Sunday September 30th, 2018, when my sister Angie and I decided to go shopping for dresses. We walked into the store and Zack said, "hello welcome to Ross." I just smiled back and said, "hello."

Zack claimed it was my smile he fell for. However, I think it was my booty he seen when I walked pass him because after about twenty minutes or so of being in the store I hear someone say excuse me ma'am, and when I turned around it was the security guard from the front of the store. Now the thoughts in my head were straight attitude cause I'm thinking like what do you want, why are you all the way in the back of the store when you suppose to be at the front. However, I just replied with a "yes."

Zack asked me if I was seeing anyone and if he could take me out on a date. All I could do was bust out laughing because of the thoughts I was just thinking in my head were so wrong. Nevertheless, since I was single I agreed to him taking me out and exchanged phone numbers. We texted and talked on the phone for about a week and went on a date that Saturday. Our first date was at ShowBiz Cinema were we saw Venom.

After leaving the movie theater we sat in the car for about three hours just talking, listening to some of Zack's music, and getting to know one another. Sad, to say our conversation came to an end when one of his friends called needing a ride home. Regardless, of the interruption Zack called me as soon as he dropped his friend off because he said, "he had some important questions to ask me." The first question he asked was what would I rate the date we just had on a scale from 1 to 5, 5 being the highest? I gave it a 4.5 because of the whole interruption call. Zack thought it was because he didn't give me a kiss when he walked me to my car before leaving. The second question was have I ever watched The Boondocks? I was like of course I still be watching it when they play the reruns.

Zack got all excited and was like cool that's what's up. Then he said, "I got one more question to ask you before I let you go to bed." I was like glad to know cause at first I thought we was going to play 21 questions all over again. He just laughed and said, nall but will you be my girlfriend? I immediately was like what after just one date? He was like I been talking to you for a whole week and you keep me interested and I can really see myself being with you. I was like I'm not going to say no, I am just going to say I have to pray about it because you are so young but you don't have any kids. My prayer to God has been just don't let him have kids LOL. So I will pray on it since it is an age difference.

It was literally 3:15am on October 7th, 2018 when we hung up the phone. We went to church together in the morning and then to Razzoo's Cajun Cafe for dinner. We have been dating ever since and on September 5th, 2020 at 6:53pm, Zack asked me to marry him. All I could do was burst out laughing saying really babe, are you for real? (If you seen the video on Facebook you already know why LOL). When he said, "he was serious" I just kissed him and said "yess!"
