Where should we stay?

The many hotels we contacted weren’t able to set up a hotel block or discount rate, they can only give discount codes that only work within Spain (Therefore we weren’t able to secure a hotel block). Most groups will stay around the bus pickup locations. The Murray family will stay at the Hard Rock Hotel next to the bus pickup location.

How do we get from the airport to our hotel?

The best area to stay (near the bus pickup location) is in the heart of Madrid and is a 25 minute drive from the airport. Uber and Taxi tend to range around 15-35$ for this trip, and are the recommended method of transport. A rental car is not necessary (we actually recommend against it), but is also an option.

Should we get a rental car?

If staying nearby the bus pickup location, almost all attractions are within a 30 minute walk of the hotel. Parking at hotels ranges around $35 per day, and moving/ parking around the city can be quite complicated in a car. Driving in downtown is intense to say the least. Buses will be provided to and from the wedding from the hotel. Therefore we recommend against getting a rental car.

Is there a Hotel Block?

How do we get from our hotel to the venue?

Buses will be provided from two locations in Downtown Madrid. The buses will first arrive at Plaza del Marqués de Salamanca at 11:50AM and boarding will begin. They will leave from Plaza del Marqués de Salamanca at 12:00PM and arrive at Bar El Brillante around 12:10PM.
