We both grew up in the same hometown—Minocqua—but went to different schools until middle school. We both shared what you might call a classic “middle school crush”: we were too shy to talk to each other, even though we noticed one another.

We eventually ended up in a few of the same classes and on the same sports teams, but the biggest turning point in our friendship came through the Min-Aqua Bats. Being on the team together brought us closer, and becoming doubles partners sealed the bond. Three times a week, it was just the two of us out on the water, learning to trust each other and moving in sync.

Our friendship continued strong through high school, but it wasn’t until our junior and senior years that something deeper started to grow. Life threw its challenges at both of us, and during those tough times, we found ourselves leaning on each other more. We opened up, spent more time together, and realized our connection had grown into something more.

What started as a friendship turned into love. We became inseparable—always laughing, dreaming, supporting each other, and just enjoying life together. When you find your best friend, you want them by your side through it all—the good days, the hard ones, the lazy ones, and the big adventures.

On May 29, 2024, during a road trip out west, we got engaged. After over five years together (and many more as friends), we've experienced long-distance stretches, shared countless memories, and now, we’ve finally bought a house and moved in together.

Reality is setting in, and it’s beautiful. We’re so excited to celebrate this next chapter with all of you—thank you for being a part of our story!
