We are thrilled to share our love story of how two individuals who had never met before found each other on Instagram and embarked on an incredible journey of love and growth. Let us take you back to the year 2015 when our story began.

At the tender ages of 16 and 17, our paths converged through the vast realm of social media. It was Misty, filled with courage and curiosity, who made the first move.

Besides the fact that they both attended different high schools, that didn't make it very hard to find each other. Having some friends at her own school lead to the connection with a handsome boy named Zack. She stumbled upon his profile and was instantly captivated by his smile and the hobbies he shared.

With a simple follow she patiently waited for the follow back, she got it. Time passed, and several posts later, Misty showed interaction on his media but wasn’t getting anything back from him, typical hard to get. Eventually after multiple likes, the time came and the double-tap heart notification came from him, he sent his first digital gesture of approval—a like on a selfie. Right away with happiness Misty commented on a very old post of his “hey you seem cool, message me ”

Little did they know that this seemingly small act would set the stage for something extraordinary. The connection deepened as they exchanged messages, discovering shared interests, dreams, and aspirations. At this point, still not knowing each other and only having virtual interactions, Zack wanted to ask Misty out without meeting in person. Misty declined and said she wanted to meet first, and he said he “didn’t want to miss this opportunity to have someone like you”.

So they set up our very first date—a movie outing for the film “The Duff” that would forever mark the beginning of our journey as high school sweethearts. The core memory that will forever be in Mistys mind is trying to find her soon to be lover and when they both went around the corner, from afar, she turns around to her parents and goes “this is it” with the biggest smile.

After the movie, a quick hug and a hand hold by the Auntie Anne's in the mall and the question was asked, the rest was history.

From that day forward, they embarked on a beautiful adventure, growing together, learning together, and always being there for each other through the ups and downs of life. As they navigated the exciting yet challenging years of college at Duquesne University, they became each other's biggest supporters, cheering one another on through exams, late-night study sessions, and moments of doubt.

Together, they weathered the storms and celebrated the triumphs, for the love was their anchor that steadied them through it all. They discovered the strength of their bond, the support, and the unconditional love that fueled their spirits.

Throughout the journey, their love for exploration and delightful coffee led them to the best coffee shops both local and all over the country, where they became self-proclaimed connoisseurs of mocha lattes and vanilla Americanos. They relished in discovering new restaurants, savoring delicious meals while dreaming about the future that awaited them. And amidst all the social events and parties, they found solace in each other's company, reveling in the joy of being in love.

With Zacks passion for hockey, starting at the young age of 7, playing all the way up until college, this captured Misty's heart from the very beginning. Sports played a significant role in their journey as well. She became his supporter, attending games and practices, rooting him on with uncontainable enthusiasm and of course already stealing the Streno name with his jerseys she wore. As for winter sports,skiing became a shared adventure. Misty taught Zack how to glide down the slopes, while he, in turn, introduced her to the exhilarating world of ice skating and hockey.

One of their most cherished traditions was attending Pittsburgh Penguins hockey games, where they cheered for their favorite team with loyalty. To make the experience even more special, they would indulge in their favorite Primanti Brothers sandwich and enjoy the delightful flavors of the stadium chicken tenders and fries, and of course after hockey season, having The Steelers season to keep them occupied.

With their love story extended far beyond their hometown and Pittsburgh. Together, they embarked on countless adventures, exploring places like Las Vegas, New York City, Myrtle Beach (their love for the beach knew no bounds), Punta Cana, Canada, Miami, Disney World, Nashville, of course Seven Springs for skiing and so many others. Each trip brought them closer together, creating lasting memories that would forever be etched in their hearts.

They also shared a deep love for music. While Misty adored all genres, country tunes were part of who she is and introduced Zack to a world of lyrics, melodies, and dancing. They both found enjoyment in the melodies of Post Malone, Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen and so many other beloved artists. Concerts became the escape, as they swayed to the rhythm of the music, holding hands and singing along to every song.

They have become each other's best friend, transforming and shaping one another in beautiful ways. Misty shared her fashion sense with Zack to ditch the Adam Sandler Shorts and baggy tee to button downs and chinos, while he introduced her to the humor, great food and places to visit. From Zacks outgoing funny personality to Misty's caring loving side they can both conquer anything. Together, they have built a foundation of love, trust, and unwavering support.

Zachary and Misty both share a passion for the finer things in life. Zack, a true enthusiast, developed an unyielding love for craft breweries and bourbon. With each sip he savored, he discovered a world of flavors. On the other hand, Misty found passion in the art of mixology, delighting in the creation of fancy and unique cocktails that teased the taste buds and left a lasting impression.

Their story is one woven with never-ending quotes, a tapestry of inside jokes that only they could understand. From the witty banter to the heartfelt expressions, their love language blossomed through words that danced

in the air.

When they weren't immersed in the world of sports, or adventures, you could often find them cozied up on the couch, indulging in some random show or movie that they have seen more than they probably should of by now. Their favorite thing to turn on was culinary videos guided by their favorite YouTube stars. This leads to Zack being great in the kitchen with an insatiable love for food, he took pleasure in sharing his culinary expertise (thanks dad!) with his wife to be. He taught her the art of good eats, filling their kitchen with aromas that made their taste buds dance, not to mention his grill master skills to cook a great Delmonico.

As love does, it embraced the quirks and idiosyncrasies that made each of them unique. Zack adored Misty unconditionally, with her very crafty and her "its how much?!, I can make it myself for less" personality (thanks to her father) and her amazing decision making skills (this is a joke she can never make up her mind). Even if she enjoyed the occasional wonky food combinations or had a penchant for running fashionably late. And oh, her driving skills, they certainly added an element of excitement to every journey they embarked upon. But it was her "extra" personality, the zest she brought to anything and everything, especially party hosting, that brought endless joy to their lives.

And, despite repeatedly telling the same dad jokes, Misty found great comfort in the unique sense of humor Zack has introduced into her life...and she has even began incorporating it into her sense of humor as well.

But their love extended far beyond their own world. They were both compassionate souls, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. Together, they found joy in making a difference, selflessly offering their time and support to others. Whether it was helping family and friends or being a shoulder to lean on, their caring hearts united them in a shared purpose.

Their adventurous spirits knew no bounds. They learned to conquer air and sea by learning to fly a plane high in the skies and navigate the open waters of Deep Creek Lake, embracing the freedom that the skies and seas provided. In their quest for shared experiences, Zack introduced Misty to classic movies she had never seen, immersing her in a world of nostalgia and timeless tales. From Happy Gilmore, to Get Him to the Greek with Russell Brand, she enjoyed all that he suggested. Zachary had a passion for comedies/action films where Misty, she shared her love for spooky and drama films including her favorite Beetlejuice with Michael Keaton or her rainy day tendency of turning on The Breakfast Club.

Together, they united in the joy of discovering "their" show, or stumbling upon a hidden gem on Netflix. Those endless belly laughs echoed through the walls of their cozy home, creating memories that would forever be imprinted in their hearts.

Over 8 years have passed since that fateful Instagram like, time has flown by and it feels like yesterday, their bond has only grown stronger. They took the leap of faith, and decided it was time to move in together after college into their first apartment, creating a cozy space filled with love and laughter. Their little family expanded when they welcomed Bentley, the fuzziest Miniature Australian Shepherd puppy, into their lives. Bentley became their spoiled fur baby, showering them with unconditional love and adding immeasurable joy to their days. Misty adores him and insists of dressing Bentley up for special occasions, this gets Zacks disapproval but reminds us that love is also about embracing each other's quirks.

Fast forward to one beautiful sunny day in October, Zachary decided it was time to take the next step for some big plans. Knowing Misty's deep affection for pumpkin patches, fall & everything Halloween, he carefully planned a surprise proposal with his friend (that captured the amazing moment with his photography skills) that would forever hold a special place in their hearts.

As they both walked through a sea of vibrant pumpkins, Zachary dropped to one knee and asked the question that would change their lives forever. With joyful tears streaming down her face, she had no hesitation on saying “yes!”, and he proceeded to slide the rock upon her dainty finger.

Now, as we stand in a new chapter, they are overjoyed to invite you to witness the culmination of their love story. It all started with a simple like, but it blossomed into something profound and beautiful—an unbreakable bond that they are privileged to share with you.

Through all the endless fun, the late night Dominos (thin crust with extra pineapple), Oreo (and M&M) Mcflurries, weekly wing nights, the constant Target runs, all the coffee trips, unbelievable cuisine, and all the incredible adventures, this is only the beginning of their life long journey together, cheers to their next chapter!
