Long before these folks fell in love, began a story of close encounters and crossed paths leading to a bond built on trust, understanding and admiration that will surely outlast their lives.

Zack and Myra's story began in the summer of 2020, at a family party. Myra has described this as the first time she really "saw" Zack.

"He was dancing and playing music for the party, and we were all just laughing and playing. I had never seen him so silly and animated" she says.

They spent the late part of the evening looking at the stars and talking together with her family, in her mother's back yard. From that night they became closer with each interaction, finding many common interests and beliefs. They spoke of looking for someone who just fits into their lives, making it easier and more fulfilling; and remain in utter astonishment that they found exactly that in each other.

They later discovered how many times their lives had intertwined and began to feel they were destined to find each other at exactly the right time. They laugh about realizing they frequented the same fish store in Perry Hall, Maryland; across the street from Myra's elementary school. For three years, they attended the same middle school in Pennsylvania, and never met. Then, when he took their siblings, Nick and Evelynn, to their first school dance together, Zack and Myra finally met. Although it would be years of merely running into each other at family events and smiling in passing, they give a great deal of gratitude to their siblings for bringing them together. Without them, the road to finding each other would have been far longer.

Nearly three years into their life together, on the same date their love found its spark, in the same back yard in which they first gazed up into the night sky side by side, Zack knelt on one knee to offer his grandmothers ring. Hearing her mother shriek with surprise and excitement behind her, Myra fell into his arms accepting his proposal. It will be on their fourth anniversary together, that they will be married. They are elated to be spending the first day of their next chapter with their family and friends with a beautifully simple ceremony followed by a night to remember filled with dancing, incredible energy and pure unconditional love.
