While we know our loved ones would love to capture special moments during our ceremony, we are asking for an un-plugged event. Please keep your phones tucked away during the ceremony. Our fabulous photographer will be sure to capture every detail for everyone to have later on.

Kirkwood Ski Resort is located in the middle of the Sierra Nevadas at an elevation of 7,690 ft! This makes for a fun adventure weekend, but guests should also be weary - high elevations come with special concerns you should be aware of ahead of time. Any guest with respiratory conditions should know there is less oxygen present in the alpine zone, and it is not uncommon for some to use an oxygen tank for better comfort at high elevations. High altitudes also have an effect on our alcohol tolerance. Some people may feel their drinks more quickly and strongly than if they were partying at a lower elevation. We plan on partying all night, so please just make sure to also drink water!

During the summer season there are not as many open restaurants in the Valley. There is a general store open for basic food items and necessities, but we suggest bringing any food or drinks you may like to have. Unfortunately, none of the restaurants will be open for breakfasts. Please see the Dining section for local restaurants that will be open for lunch and dinner.

While we do love all of our favorite kiddos, we are very sorry to not be able to include all of our adoptive nieces and nephews. Due to capacity limits at our ceremony and reception, the only children at our wedding are immediate family.
