What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
The ceremony will begin promptly at 1:30 PM, so we recommend arriving 15-20 minutes early to allow time for parking and seating
Where should I park for the ceremony?
Parking at the Church is limited, but we will have a parking attendant on hand to assist with double parking and guide guests to available spots. We kindly ask that those who will be in the family photos after the ceremony avoid blocking other vehicles. Additionally, we encourage our younger guests to reserve the spots closest to the Church for our senior guests or those who may need extra assistance.
Beyond the Church’s parking lot, street parking is available throughout Mt. Adams. There's also a $5 parking garage located at 1111 Saint Gregory St Cincinnati, OH.
What should I wear?
We’re excited to see everyone dressed to impress! The dress code for our wedding is cocktail attire, so feel free to put on your finest. And don’t forget your dancing shoes for the reception!
What happens after the ceremony?
Following the ceremony, there will be a brief break from about 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM. During this time, we’ll be taking photos with family and the wedding party, while you have a chance to relax or explore the area before the reception begins.
How far is Alcove Loft from the ceremony location?
Alcove Loft is approximately a 10 minute drive from Holy Cross Immaculata Parish.
Where should I park for the reception?
Parking in Downtown Cincinnati can be a bit unpredictable in terms of price and availability, so we recommend carpooling, using rideshares like Uber, or taking public transportation when possible.
There is a public parking lot right next to the Alcove Loft at 1420 Vine St, Cincinnati, OH 45202 (pricing may vary depending on city events). The closest parking garage is the Mercer Garage, located at 1312 Vine St, Cincinnati, OH 45202. Additional parking lots, garages, and street parking are available throughout the area.
For those using Cincinnati's free Connector Streetcar, we recommend getting off at the 12th & Vine stop (Stop 7). From there, it’s about a 2.5-block walk to the Alcove Loft. Please note that the Connector stops running at 11:30 PM on Saturdays.
How do I find the reception?
The address for the Alcove will take you to the restaurant entrance on Vine Street. The entrance to Alcove Loft is located on the right side of the building on 14th Street E. This is a quieter street, making it a great spot for drop-offs. Once inside, you can take the green staircase up to the loft, or if you require elevator access, just walk down the hallway and you'll find the elevator at the end.
Where is the best place to grab a drink before the reception?
Our favorite bars close to our reception venue are:
Low Spark (Abby's fav is Doctor Satan)
Sundry & Vice (Abby's fav is Purple Rain)
Abigail Street (Zak & Abby's fav is the Espresso Martini)
Bakersfield (Zak & Abby's fav is the Spicy Margarita)
What are the best restaurants in Cincinnati?
Our favorites are Abigail Street, The Davidson, Taglio, Teak and Knockback Nats (best wings in the city!)
Are there any events going on while I am in town?
Yes! The America’s River Roots Festival will be happening from October 8-12, 2025. While we’re excited about this event, it will bring a large crowd to Cincinnati during our wedding weekend. We recommend planning your accommodations in advance to ensure everything goes smoothly. You can find more details about the festival on our Things to Do page!
What kind of food will be served at the reception?
We’ll be serving a delicious plated dinner! Please be sure to make your meal selection and let us know if you have any dietary restrictions when you RSVP.
Are there accommodations nearby?
