Q + A

What should I wear?

We kindly request that guests dress conservatively for our Nikah ceremony for religious purposes. Women are encouraged to wear semi-formal yet modest attire, such as long dresses or shirts and tops that cover the shoulder. Men are advised to wear suits (black pants & white long-sleeved shirt) or traditional Indian attire. We appreciate your understanding and respect for the cultural significance of our celebration.

Am I allowed to bring an extra guest?

Due to venue capacity and our desire for an intimate gathering, we can only accommodate the guests listed on the invitation. Thank you for understanding and helping us keep our celebration special!

Are children allowed at the wedding?

Children are welcome at our wedding! However, during the start of the ceremony, we kindly ask that parents ensure their little ones remain quiet and respectful. If your child becomes restless, we appreciate your consideration in stepping out temporarily so everyone can enjoy the moment. Thank you.

What time should I arrive?

Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the Nikah ceremony starts to ensure you have enough time to find a seat and settle in. Please help yourselves with appetizers and refreshments. The ceremony will begin promptly at 7:00pm. Doors will be temporarily closed at this time to prevent disruptions.

Do you accept boxed gifts?

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift of all! If you would like to give a gift, we kindly ask that you send it to our home instead of bringing it to the ceremony. This will help keep things organized and ensure that your gift arrives safely. Thank you for understanding and your generosity.

Will there be a vegetarian or halal meal option?

Absolutely! We will have halal and vegetarian options available. Please let us know of any dietary restrictions when you RSVP so we can accommodate you.

What should I do if I have allergies?

If you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions, please let us know when you RSVP. We will do our best to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable meal.

How do I get in touch with someone if I have more questions?

If you have any additional questions, please feel free to contact us directly or reach out to the bridal party.

Will there be alcohol at the wedding?

No, alcohol will not be served at our wedding. We’ve chosen to have a celebration that reflects our values, and we appreciate your understanding and respect for this decision. There will be plenty of delicious non-alcoholic beverages and a great time to be had by all!
