You will not need to arrange your own transport at any point during this week.

Exact transport timings will be provided along with the agenda before your departure to Vietnam.

If any of you are staying in Vietnam for longer and spending more time in Ha Noi beyond our wedding, we recommend renting a scooter as your main mode of transportation. We do not recommend renting a car, as it is absolutely unnecessary in this country. There is a lack of parking spaces, traffic moves at a maximum of 20 km/h under good conditions, and scooters drive just 5 cm away from cars.

If you do not feel confident driving a scooter yourself, we suggest installing the GRAB app (here is the clickable link to the app). It is the local equivalent of Uber. You can travel using car taxis or scooters with a licensed driver. Prices are given upfront, so you don’t have to worry about being overcharged for a ride.
