Battersea Arts Centre is located in South West London, in the area of Battersea in Wandsworth. It is a Grade II* listed building, and was damaged in a fire in March 2015. Since then extensive repair work has been conducted to revive the building and retain its beautiful foundations. It has since won various architectural awards due to its incredible grandeur and Victorian charm.
It is historically important as it has housed one of the worlds oldest church organs, installed in 1900, and was a venue used for many suffragette debates where Emmeline Pankhurst was an apt visitor. In more recent history it has served as a venue for artists, with Fleetwood Mac being one of several stars to perform on its stage.
