Zane and Andie’s story had the same ending: they fell in love with one another in Lamoni, IA at the small school of Graceland University.
Their beginnings looked a little different..

For Zane, he remembers meeting Andie at Smokey Row in her home town of Pleasantville, IA. This was an overwhelming experience for Andie as multiple gentleman from the Graceland house of Agape bombarded her while she was working. There was definitely an interest to get to know Andie, from Zane’s perspective. But she was one of Zane’s Agape house mates sister. Which meant she was off limits.
But limits are meant to be broken..

As for Andie, she first remembers Zane when someone pointed him out while she was at a high school track meet her senior year when Zane was a freshman at GU. Unfortunately, he was pointed out by someone stating, “don’t date anyone on Agape, especially that one.”
Good thing Andie didn’t listen!

The two started dating in March of 2020, with their first official “date” at The Shack, a Lamoni staple. They spent the rest of Zane’s time at Graceland growing closer and making college memories that will last a lifetime.

Later down the road, Zane decided to pop the question while on a ski trip. On December 18, 2022, Andie and Zane became engaged in Breckenridge, Colorado. Andie may or may not have thought the proposal was a fake from prior times Zane pretended to ask the question in a beautiful spot..

Together they love to hike, camp, shred the slopes, spoil their dog Milo, climb, travel, and so much more that they will continue doing throughout the entirety of their marriage.
