A Kwe Kwe (also spelled Queh Queh) is an Afro-Guyanese pre-wedding tradition. It's basically a rehearsal dinner, but Guyanese-style! On the night before the wedding, family and friends gather with singing, dancing, and good-natured advice for the couple. It’s a vibrant celebration that honors heritage—a tradition all about surrounding the couple with joy, blessings, and good vibes.

The wedding reception on May 3, 2026 is only for guests 21+. Kids are welcome to join the Kwe Kwe on May 2, 2026.
