Zenia and Andrew's journey began at Bellarmine University, where they both played soccer. Despite their shared interest, their paths didn't cross until Zenia started her internship at DMLO, where Andrew had just completed his first year. A few years later, after Zenia's internship concluded, they ran into each other at Shenan's, a neighborhood bar. They enjoyed spending time together and, a few weeks later, went on their first date to Drake's. Their connection deepened as they spent the summer in Louisville, with Zenia's start date for her job in Atlanta repeatedly delayed.

Toward the end of the summer, Zenia and Andrew began dating, even as Zenia eventually relocated to Atlanta. They maintained a long-distance relationship for several months, with Zenia frequently traveling back to Louisville for knee appointments. In June 2024, Andrew moved to Atlanta after landing a job, bringing them closer together.

Since then, their bond has continued to grow, and they have welcomed a beloved four-legged fur baby, Lucy, into their lives. As Zenia slowly became a Louisville fan, Andrew proposed to her on Valentine's Day 2025. They are eagerly looking forward to their wedding on August 23, 2025, where they will celebrate with family and friends and embark on the next chapter of their lives together.
