We met at the University of Nottingham, where we were both part of our church, Acts Semenyih. Nothing happened. At all.

We were serving as campus leaders for our church. At first, we didn't like each other much, our relationship was like cat vs dog.

Somehow we developed a close working relationship because we ended up always working with each other, especially for church campus events. This went on for about 5 years till something happened.

We are thankful for friends who shipped us since day 1 when we were still fighting

Being extroverts, both of us have planned many outings and fun hangouts, which is how we also ended up spending more time together.

Our bickering eventually turned into courtship. God has a sense of humour. The person we both said we won’t end up with, eventually becomes the love of our lives.

Our shared love for food has been a cornerstone of our relationship. I always loved exploring new dishes, and Zer Bin enjoyed tagging along.

We've faced tough times together, like when I was dealing with sports injury right when we first started dating.

Coco’s support during that season was invaluable, she was not only there in the good times but she was my strong pillar also in my lowest.

After being friends for so many years, we knew each other so well. When it came to proposing, I had trouble keeping it a secret because she could easily sense something was up. So when I planned for the "proposal" picnic, the only surprise I managed to pull off was where I hid the ring - which was inside a loaf of bread! Haha

We both come from different backgrounds - Zer Bin is from Malaysia, and I am from Indonesia.

On this day when you witnessed our wedding, it also testifies the grace of overcoming all the bureaucracy and paperwork just to get married.
