Our story began when we first met at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- day Saints located at Mercer island. Before that Zifu has been going to the YSA ward at Bellevue and Ziqian just moved back from Dallas for work. Not only we share the same religion but we also became friends by sharing some common hobbies such as playing board games, snowboarding/ skiing and playing the piano.

We always had lots of fun when we hung out with a group of church friends playing board games and cooking dinner. Also, during the winter season of 2022, we went snowboarding a couple times with the two moms. Times flies with good memories.

As much as we love to hang out with a group of friends, we also enjoy spending time with just two of us. Zifu is a horror movie lover so our 1st date with each other was watching the last Voyage of the Demter. Ever since then, with some of the rainy days in Seattle we would spend a lazy day together watching horror movie.

As two foodies, we would go out and try new restaurants together and when we ran out of ideas Zifu would always take Ziqian to her all-time favorite restaurant – Boiling Point! On some other weekends, Zifu loves to cook and try new receipts. To Ziqian, Zifu is the most amazing cook. Anything that he touches tastes way better than anywhere else you could order it.

Both of us hope that we can continue to share life with each other and flourish together so we decided to get engaged. And now we look forward to see you at our wedding!
