Matt and I actually met on a dating site where we "matched." I struck up the conversation first on April 29, 2015 after getting a fortune cookie the day before that read, "An admirer is too shy to meet you. Be on the look out and make the first move!" We met on May 8, 2015 on our first date, beginning at Chenal Promenade and ending with seeing Ultron in 3D. After the movie, we sat in my car for few minutes just chatting, then I attempted to start my car to leave. It turned over a few times, then nothing. My car wouldn't start. I was so embarrassed! Matt got out in the pouring rain and jumped my car; thankfully, it started easily after that! (I know... our first date sounds like something straight out of a Rom Com!) We continued to see each other long distance with me living in Little Rock and him living in Batesville. In March 2016, I moved up to Batesville where our love continued to blossom. We got engaged on August 14th, 2018.
