Sean first remembers meeting Zoe while she was at her official visit for soccer at Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC. Sean was a member of the Winthrop Men’s soccer team at the time. They would see each other at the soccer fields and at the occasional party, but their lives would not cross paths again until Zoe’s senior year, when Sean came back as an alumni for Men’s Soccer Senior Night.

It was then, Sean made a move and slid into Zoe’s DM’s the next day and found out she had not been to top golf. Although Zoe could not swing a golf club to save her life, the date went well, and Zoe and Sean had many more adventures that year, including cliff jumping, running a half marathon, and skydiving.

Zoe and Sean moved in together in Charlotte with roommates Nick and Cat after Zoe’s graduation. They made many fun memories in Charlotte, playing soccer, working out together, and going out in the city with friends.

Sean proposed to Zoe at midnight with close friends cheering them on at Caswell’s Station.

The wedding planning was put to a halt, when Zoe got into physical therapy school at Rutgers. They would then be in a long distance relationship for 3 years, Sean working as a strength and conditioning coach in South Carolina, while Zoe completed school in New Jersey.

Many plane tickets, texts, and face times later, Zoe finally graduated! Sean and Zoe were reunited and are happily residing in Fort Mill, South Carolina.

As they say, good things take time, and we can now finally answer the question… “When is your date?” IT IS APRIL 14TH 2024 - SEE YOU IN MEXICO!!!
