Colton and Zoe met in July 2021. Though they attended different high schools, they were introduced through mutual friends and went on their first date shortly after graduation. Their first official date was dinner and a movie—watching The Conjuring 3 in theaters—and not long after, Colton took Zoe cliff jumping as a second date —because what better way to get to know each other than by leaping into freezing water together? From the start, their relationship was long-distance, with Colton heading to Grand Canyon University and Zoe attending the University of Denver; their love thrived across the miles. From late-night FaceTime calls to weekend visits, they learned the true meaning of patience, commitment, and trust in one another. Along the way, they built countless memories: concerts, trips, movie nights, and finding joy in both the big adventures and the quiet moments.
