New York in the fall is our favorite time of year, whether you want to go south towards NYC or north and enjoy the beautiful Catskills. Here are some of our favorites!
(Spoiler alert: scroll for a list of our favorite restaurants as well).
The MET is an NYC staple, and where we went on a few of our first dates. If you're looking to make a day of it, we recommend a walk around its' neighbor, Central Park, and then sight-seeing the beautiful architecture of the Upper East Side.
We may be biased, but this is our favorite part of town. We love to grab brunch at Good Enough to Eat (520 Columbus Ave), and then do some shopping and strolling. Shakespeare & Company is one of our favorite bookstores in NYC, and the Museum of Natural History is only a few blocks away. If you decide to stay for dinner, venture to Morningside Heights for our favorite pizza at Bar 314 (3143 Broadway).
Start your day downtown browsing the stalls at Chelsea Market. You can then make your way to SoHo for the best shopping in NYC. Along the way, visit the High Line and the Whitney for some modern art. You can cap things off with authentic dim sum in Chinatown
A beautiful outdoor sculptural garden only a 25 minute drive from Arrow Park.
Enjoy a fall hike on one of Ramapo Reservation's trails, or a walk around the lake- also a 25 minute drive from venue.
