While working on a landscaping job for B Troop, the horse troop he rode with, Ryan went to ACE hardware to look for things that he could use to improve the B Troop area. While walking through the garden section, a helpful and beautiful worker approached and inquired if Ryan needed any help. While he did not need any help, he thought she was cute and asked for her number, thus marking the beginning of Ryan and Zoe's relationship.
