Brian and I matched on the LDS dating app Mutual! We talked for three days, before he asked me out on a date. Our date was supposed to be at the salt river where we wanted to make a fire and eat smores. But things took a turn and instead, our date consisted of me getting off a 12 hour shift and him bringing me a chop shop salad (which I ate a whole two bites lol oops). We were both SO nervous, but got comfortable quickly as we talked ALL night long. And I mean ALL night haha! We were on the couch talking until four in the morning before he headed home. Ever since that night, we have spent every day, besides two, together and we wouldnt have it any other way. Our time together has consisted of some pretty fun and amazing dates including taking shelter dogs on a field trip, paddle boarding, feeding ducks, playing soccer, LOTS of lego building (our favorite), camping trips, rock climbing, Mexico trip, and movie/show marathons. We are beyond excited for what the future holds in store for us, especially with moving to Florida! That’s right! FLORIDA! After the wedding, we will be spending a few days at the Fillmore family cabin in Pine, Arizona before heading back to the valley to pack! We start our 28 hour, cross country drive (with three dogs!) on the 13th of August! We’ll spend a couple years there while Brian completes the physical therapy program at University of St Augustine! After he graduates, the current plan is to come back to Arizona where I will attend nursing school!
