Zoe and Mason met at the most unexpected time. Zoe was working late at a restaurant just across the street from Mason’s apartment building while chasing her dream of building a career in commercial real estate. That night, Mason walked in with a few friends and struck up a conversation with her. She had had a long, exhausting day and wasn’t particularly in the mood to talk—but Mason didn’t seem discouraged. Before he left, he scribbled down his phone number and Instagram handle on the receipt and left them behind for her. Later that night, curiosity got the better of Zoe. She looked him up on Instagram, followed him, and to her surprise, they ended up messaging back and forth into the early hours. She shared her goals with him—how she planned to quit her restaurant job as soon as she closed her first deal. He replied, “Then how will I see you again?” Without missing a beat, she told him, “Well, you better ask me on a date!” One week later, they were on their first date. Two weeks after their first date, Mason asked Zoe to be his girlfriend. From that point on, they couldn’t spend enough time together. Two months later, they found out that Beckham was on the way. And on April 14, 2024—just one day before their first anniversary—Mason asked Zoe to marry him. They often say it feels like they’ve packed ten years of life and love into just two and a half. But they wouldn’t change a thing. Now, they’re standing on the edge of forever, ready to say “I do” and begin the next chapter of their journey. All because God had a plan—and they trusted Him every step of the way.
