We attended the same high school, but our paths didn't cross until our early 20's. There was an instant attraction, but it was always "wrong place, wrong time" when it came to dating. We managed to stay close due to shared interests and humor, and eventually decided to give it shot during the summer of 2021. The rest is history!

On October 18, 2021, Bernie asked Zoe to be his girlfriend.
