If you're lucky enough to know us both, you likely already know much of this information. If not, let us fill you in on one of the most precious friendships in our lives.

We met in middle school! If a time traveler got a hold of 2008 us, though, I think we both would've been a little bit confused about this birthday party. You see, we were in similar circles in middle school and had 8th grade Drama 2 together, but it wasn't until we both joined the ASL club in high school that we really connected.

Some time in those early semesters (Spring or Fall 2011?), Tati started tutoring Zoë in math. Those afternoons consisted of about 10% homework time and 90% chit chatting about high school drama, life goals, and Disney Channel celebrities (aka the Jonas Brothers). We haven't looked back since.

As our friend group venn diagram overlapped more and more through high school, and we each became integral parts of the other's family, we realized that with a mere three day difference in our birthdays, it'd be more fun to celebrate those together.

For our 17th birthdays, we had a friend dinner at Olive Garden. Truly the classiest and fanciest outing we could imagine (and afford) at the time.

For our 18th, our families threw us a giant birthday bash complete with tiaras, the song "Gas Pedal", and a giant cake.

For our 21st, we met in Orlando to "drink around the world" at Epcot and relive the magical memories we'd built over the years at Disney World.

We haven't been able to be together on our birthdays since then, but there was no way we would miss the milestone birthday that is 30!!

If you're interested in joining us, but you haven't met that second person you'd also be celebrating, don't worry, I know you'll love her.
