Jack and Zoe first met in a GIS course at UW-Whitewater. If you ask Zoe to describe her first impression of Jack, she will tell you that he was relentlessly annoying. Everyday in this class Zoe Would sanitize the computer lab keyboard, something that sounds less bizarre after the year we have had, but this was back in 2017. Jack would make fun of her each day.

Fast forward to 2019. Zoe was in her remaining days of her senior year. She happen to run into Jack at the University Center where he worked. She remembered that they had been in the GIS class together and thought he was pretty cute, so she shot her shot. Zoe asked Jack out on a date at a local bar in town. They continued to see one another over the summer while Jack took an internship in Minnesota and even spent numerous weekends with one another in both states. Jack says that Zoe’s willingness to come visit him so far away is what really made him fall in love with her.

Continuing on with their story, together they experienced graduating college with their Bachelors Degrees, starting their first full time jobs post grad, a global pandemic that caused Zoe to lose her job, finding a puppy they named Mr. Otis, Zoe purchasing her first home, finding a new job, and finally we get to the good part--their engagement.
