This all started the first day of middle school in 2011. We Zoe was new to the school and wasn't sure if she would fit in with those around her. She came into the school for the bus port and walked in her 1st period class (which was History) and sat down on the right side of the room (near the door).

The first day went off without a hitch and she finally talked to some other people but as the first month went on she began to notice the feeling of eyes looking at her. After a few days she noticed the guy in the back of the room staring at her and she actually tried to avoid him until after a unit test. The teacher adjusted the seating chart of the class to put students who need more help near students that excelled on the test.

This placed Zoe right next to Jay in the back part of the room where time sitting that close together got them talking and being friends. Zoe and Jay were friends for almost a year and before in 7th grade, Jay was slid a note via a friend named Hannah that sat between them that read "are you interested in Zoe? If so will you go out with her?" (which was right before Christmas break). The break gave Jay time to ponder on her feelings and gave Zoe heart palpations on if he would go out with her.

Obviously, Jay said yes when they returned to school, and they continued to date for the next 10 years. That was until he popped the question on New Year's Eve 2023 with all of our friends and family watching. Thus, the lovely couple went into a new year as a couple with an even deeper bond that will continue to grow!
