Our wedding is on Mother’s Day, and we truly appreciate everyone making the effort to celebrate with us on this meaningful weekend. While we understand this day is typically reserved for honoring mothers, we hope our wedding can also be an opportunity for our families to come together and celebrate all the love that surrounds them.
For us, it’s not just about celebrating our own love, but also recognizing the love within our families and friends who have supported us along the way. We encourage everyone to take this time to embrace the joy of being with loved ones, and we are so grateful to share this occasion with all of you.
Can I bring a plus one?
You're welcome to bring a plus one if you're in a relationship, but please let us know in advance so we can plan accordingly!
What type of attire should I wear?
We want you to feel comfortable and stylish at our wedding. The dress code is dressy casual attire. Given the Michigan weather in May, which can range from cool to mild, we suggest the following:
For Women: Midi dresses, jumpsuits, or dressy separates paired with a light cardigan or jacket for cooler moments. Opt for comfortable flats, block heels, or wedges, as part of the event will be outdoors.
For Men: A light dress shirt with slacks or chinos. Consider bringing a blazer or light jacket in case it gets cooler in the evening. Ties are optional!
Are the ceremony and reception at the same place?
Yes! Both celebrations will be held at the Blue Dress Barn in Benton Harbor, MI.
what time should we arrive?
Guests should plan to arrive to the venue at 2:00 PM EST. The ceremony will begin at 2:30 PM!
what time is the evening reception scheduled to end?
The reception will begin around 4:00 PM, finishing up at 9:00 PM. All guests must be vacated from the property by 9:30 PM.
Can I bring my children to the wedding?
While our celebration will primarily be an adult event, we understand that family looks different for everyone. We’re happy to welcome a few little ones so that our loved ones can be with us on our special day. If you have any questions about bringing your child(ren), feel free to reach out—we can’t wait to celebrate together!
