Between downtown Charleston and all of the surrounding areas, there are so many things to do! We have broken down some of our favorite places to go and things to do by areas for you to check out while you are here!

The historical downtown Charleston has so many beautiful sights to see and restaurants to try! Here are some of our favorite spots:

- Charleston City Market

- South Carolina Aquarium

- King Street Shops and Restaurants

Some of our favorite restaurants and bars include:

- Poogan's Porch

- Muse Restaurant & Wine Bar (Ask for Donnie to be your server when you make a reservation in open table, you won't regret it!)

-Le Farfalle (The whipped ricotta and fideos dish are life-changing)

- The Griffon (Don't forget to bring a $1 bill to sign and place on the wall!)

- CO

- Barsa Tapas, Lounge, & Bar (The seafood paella and sangria are *chef's kiss*)

- Taco Boy (This is where we had our first date!)

- Lewis BBQ

- The Royal American

- Shiki Japanese Restaurant (Smaller intimate setting, a reservation is a must have)

- Hanks Seafood Restaurant

- Carmella's Dessert Bar

- Kaminsky's Dessert Cafe (The chocolate martinis and tollhouse pie are amazing)

- Chez Nous (We love this little French restaurant. We come here for all of our special occasion dinners. The menu changes everyday and each course is amazing! You can make a reservation on resy and usually find the daily menu on their Instagram page!)

Mount Pleasant is where the hotels and wedding venue are located, and where we both lived and spent a lot of our time! It has easy access to the bridge that leads into downtown and also close proximity to two of the beaches that Charleston has to offer! Here are some of our favorite spots:


- Shem Creek (There are many restaurants that line the creek along both sides and also a boardwalk to walk out and see the fishing boats. You are also able to reserve kayak and paddleboard tours along the creek! We never fail to see dolphins swimming in the creek whenever we go!)
- Waterfront Park Pier
- Pit Street Bridge (AMAZING sunset views!)


Some of our favorite restaurants include:


- SAVI Cucina and Wine Bar (Amazing food, wine, and cocktail selections and the staff are incredible. We go here once a month!)
- Locals (A little bit of everything for everybody to enjoy. Amazing sushi menu)
- Grace & Grit (The grit flights are a must have!)
- Any of the Shem Creek Restaurants (Red's Ice House, Saltwater Cowboys, Vickery's - you can't go wrong)
- SOL Southwest Kitchen & Tequila Bar
- Orlando's Pizza (Our favorite pizza place!)
- Dog and Duck

Park Circle is an area in North Charleston that we visit frequently! They have some many great restaurants and bars that we highly recommend:

- Tattooed Moose

- Paddock & Whisky (Their old fashioned is so good!)

- LoLA (The jambalaya and cornbread are so good!)

- Stems & Skins

- DIG In The Park

- Park Circle Creamery

- Firefly Distillery

- Pinky & Clyde's Arcade Bar (Nostalgia EVERYWHERE)

Charleston has some beautiful local beaches that you should definitely check out while you are here! There are three main beaches all relatively close to the hotel:

Sullivan's Beach:

- Sullivan's beach is probably the closet one. It offers a ton of amazing restaurants and is probably the least crowded.

Isle of Palms:

-IOP is also connected to Mount Pleasant, just a little further North. This is the beach that we usually go to whenever we go to the beach. They have great restaurants and bars along the beach. If you can catch a band playing at the Windjammer, it is so fun!

Folly Beach:

- This beach is the furthest away from the hotel. It is probably the most frequented beach and definitely is more geared towards the tourist crowd, but it is still fun!
