Kyle and Zoie met on the very first day of freshman orientation for high school and became instant friends. Being in the same friend group, they spent every lunch together. Kyle often found himself dragged to student council meetings, after-school events, and extracurricular activities because of Zoie. Besides during school days, Kyle and Zoie saw much of each other over their years in high school one of them was always at another's house, or doing something together with their gaggle of friends.

While Zoie was off at college in RI, Kyle and some friends organized a surprise visit to see her, only to have her come home with them for the weekend! Months later, Zoie made the decision to stay closer to home and attend a local college which Kyle also attended. Around that same time, Zoie's mom became sick. While she was able to make a full recovery, those few days of uncertainty were quite difficult for Zoie and her siblings. Kyle stayed by their side through the entire process, even spending a few nights with Zoie and her family in the hospital so they didn't have to spend it alone.

Fast forward a few months, and it became apparent the only person who didn't know Kyle loved Zoie, was Kyle. Friends and family alike made sure to inform him of this. Suddenly, all on his own, Kyle realized. They began dating on January 10th, 2019. Through three years of highs and lows, they prospered in their relationship- getting an apartment together, learning to lean on and support one another, and finding their path as a couple along the way.

On August 8th, 2022, Kyle proposed through a photo album they had created together over the last few years at Topsmead State Forest under a tree overlooking the field, and she (if you haven't figured it out yet) said yes!

Through their story, Kyle and Zoie have cultivated love and grown as a couple with the help of their support network of family and friends- all of you. Thank you all for coming along this journey with them, they cannot wait to start this next chapter with you.
