Backstory: Mason and I attend Singo at Frenzy in Edmond every Monday night.&nbsp; Three weeks before Valentine's Day weekend, the Singo host (Kerby) announced they were planning to have a Valentine’s Day weekend Singo to try something new to see if it increased attendance. I told Mason my family would be in town that weekend for my 30th birthday and if they hosted it at 2 or 3 PM my family could attend and still have time to drive back to Muskogee and Fayetteville before the work week! (I had no idea that this was the plan all along!) Mason told me I should ask Kerby. When I asked Kerby, he said well how many people do you think you could bring? We said we would invite everyone we knew and try to fill the place to help a local business. We invited a list of people we created together. I sent out texts to all of the people I added to the list. While I was doing so, Mason was also texting them or messaging them on Instagram to let them know that he was planning to propose.&nbsp; Then the week of Valentine’s Day, Mason and I went over to his parent’s house on his mom’s birthday (February 13th) and I helped them make snacks (spicy pretzels and oreo balls) for her “Valentine’s party at work”. This is not out of the ordinary because his mom, Laura and I love to meal prep lunches for the week together. Unbeknownst to me, these snacks were for the proposal on Sunday at Frenzy.&nbsp; On Sunday (February 16th), I drove my family to Frenzy for a game of Singo because they had been wanting to give it a try. Mason was walking around greeting all of the people we had invited to Singo which would be a normal thing for him to do! We played the first round of Singo (five song titles in a row). Then we played the second round of Singo (two five in a rows on the same card) and Mason and I tied. The tiebreaker was decided by Kerby. He said there would be three rounds. Mason is competitive so I was planning to win this scavenger hunt. First round, we were to find a sock from someone in the crowd and bring it to him. I went to find a sock from my sister, Malindi, and Mason’s friend Cole threw him his sock. Second round, we were to find a piece of jewelry from someone in the crowd. I again went to my sister who was already taking off her earring and Mason went to Carly’s purse (his sister) for my engagement ring. He got back up to the host stand and said I was too quick but maybe he could still win if I wanted to marry him and I said “YES!”.
