Our story began on the app "meant to be deleted": Hinge. After a few days of messaging (and secretly verifying the identity of the other person through mutual friends) we met for our first date at Cafe Ba-Ba-Reeba! followed by a night-cap at Prost! We proceeded to have 5 dates in the following 7 days and haven't looked back since.

We made the most of our first year together, despite it taking place during the thick of COVID. We took advantage of the slower lifestyle and focused on getting to know each other's families and close friends. It was also this year that we fell in love with Northern MI during a trip that included Mackinac Island, the UP and Traverse City.

Year 2 brought trips to Colorado and Mexico, several intramural softball games, weekends away with friends, trivia nights, surprise birthday celebrations and much more. Our friend groups beautifully merged in Chicago, making the city feel even more like home.

In Year 3, we crossed the Atlantic for the first time together, visiting the Netherlands, Ireland, Denmark and Belgium. During our time in Chicago, we enjoyed numerous country concerts, game nights (Ali finally beat Aaron in Catan) and spent several Sundays hammocking by Lake Michigan.

We got engaged in Chicago on a gorgeous evening, surrounded by amazing family and friends. It was truly the most magical day!

Roughly 4 1/2 years after our first date, we are going from ~Hinge to Hitched~! We can't wait to celebrate with all of you!
