We can't wait to celebrate with you all! Please review our Schedule page for all the details you'll need regarding transportation, timing, and more!
You can fly into the Santa Barbara Airport (SBA) or Los Angeles Airport (LAX).
Flying into Santa Barbara: Santa Barbara has a lovely airport but has more limited flights. It's only about 15 minutes from downtown, so a rideshare/taxi will get you to the city quickly. We recommend this option if you can find flights that fit your schedule and budget!
Flying into Los Angeles: If you fly into LA, you'll have more flight options but you'll be farther from Santa Barbara. You can either rent a car and drive or take the Santa Barbra Airbus. Expect it to take about 2-2.5 hours to get from LA to SB.
Santa Barbara's downtown is very walkable with stores, restaurants, and the beach all close together.
We recommend walking where you can, but you could also rideshare/taxi, rent bikes, or rent a car to get around. There is also a shuttle that runs downtown and along the waterfront that costs just a quarter to ride.
For wedding transportation, please see our Schedule!
A Note on Lodging...
We are having a small wedding. Given that we would not be able to fill a hotel block with the size of our event, we don't have any hotel rooms blocked. But we have a few options to check out below.
Although we do not have a block of rooms, below are some hotel options in the Santa Barbara area.
Ala Mar by the Sea // website
A moderately priced boutique hotel that although isn't right on the beach, is about a 5 minute walk to West Beach and Santa Barbra harbor.
Hotel Santa Barbara // website
If staying downtown is more your speed, Hotel SB is on Lower State, so centrally located to tons of shopping and food and still only a half mile or so to the pier and beach.
Hotel Milo // website
An unbeatable location if beach proximity is your jam. You'll be just steps from one of Santa Barbara's main beaches.
Hilton Santa Barbara // website
This isn't a budget option, but it will be memorable! Beautifully maintained grounds and steps from East Beach.
VRBO // website
There are a lot of vacation homes for rent by owners that would make great (and affordable!) options for those who want more space or are staying for a longer period of time. Feel free to ask Aaron or I if one you like would be a good option in terms of location, etc.
